Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Transport Operations Management
Introduction
The course is designed for those who need to obtain the Transport Management CPC Qualification to act as transport manager for a road transport business (haulage and passenger). It is also beneficial for those who want to upskill and enhance their career opportunities.
Course objectives/aims
The course is delivered on a part-time basis to enable attendees sufficient time to study and review material between classes and work commitments. On completion, the participant will receive their Transport Management CPC Qualification.
Course content
Topic 1: Introduction to haulage operations.
Topic 2: Setting up a road transport business.
Topic 3: Access to the road haulage market.
Topic 4: Transport operations management – haulage.
Topic 5: Financial management.
Topic 6: Technical standards – haulage.
Topic 7: Civil, commercial and social legislation.
Topic 8: Conventions and documentation.
Topic 9: Route planning and road safety.

Future transport managers for a road transport business, and transport managers who want to upskill and enhance their career opportunities.

This course is trainer-led and will be delivered online via Zoom.

€1,250 per participant

- CILT training manual.
- FTA Ireland designed study workbooks.
- Questions and answer books; copies of past papers.
- Mock exam.
+€285 per person paid directly to CILT by trainee when registering for the exam.
